This was Daba's debut live Crop Over performance at the Headliners tent. After the trials and tribulations of facing lack of airplay due to circumstances beyond his control, Daba was in one of the biggest fights of his life!
He must prove he has what it takes to deliver an underplayed song to an unfamiliar audience. Further more, Daba was suffering from a bad chest cold which would have drastically effected the quality of his voice and energy level on that night. To make things even worst, he was placed at position no.3, where there was no advantage of having the crowd warmed up from pre-ceding acts. It was also the first up tempo song for the night. The back up singers were also only available for one rehearsal and had difficulty keeping up with their parts.
In spite of it all, Daba still came with gunz blazing, stirring the crowd into a frenzy with every ounce of will power left within him. Giving no less than his best effort. It was said by many that he had set the standard for the night!
