- My Intro: Daba Davisual, the multi-talented, is a product of The Lodge School & Harrison College where he earned his reputation as an explosive performer at the schools' concerts and to this day is remembered for his extraordinary performances that left his peers screaming for more! He is a master of the stage with a zeal for dancing inspired by Michael Jackson and his native Barbadian culture of wukking up. But there is more to Daba than just performing.
After gaining an Associate Degree in Music from the Barbados Community College he furthered his studies at Full Sail in Florida, where he gained an Associate Recording Arts Degree. Daba now seeks to make a worldwide impact on the music industry by releasing self-produced songs. Daba has written hundreds of songs in many genres & is quite capable of producing all of his music
Daba has performed with two of Barbados' top bands namely "Strategy"& "C4" and was one of the opening acts for two Azman album launches! He has also been featured in the newspaper for his outstanding open mic performance at the "Iron Sharpen Iron" first anniversary event Talk Hard! Daba is also known for his outstanding lyrical displays which causes audiences to go in a frenzy!
In 2011 Daba was signed to Tunesberg Records. The record company resides in Norway and it was through this label Daba was featured on the Perfect Harmony riddim & Feeding Finga Riddim compilations produced by Swedish producer Partillo! As a result, Daba's music can now be purchased on iTUNES! His releases on the label 'Special' & 'Mayhem have received sales in the U.S.A, NORWAY, SWEDEN, GERMANY, JAPAN and many other countries as Daba continues his INTERNATIONAL movement! Daba Davisual will not stop until his music has been heard all over the world! Daba has worked with several producers WORLDWIDE such as Y-NOT PROD (France), AUGUSTA MV (Italy), JAH LOVE PROD (Switzerland), Black Identity Rec (Zimbabwe), PLAY EVOLUTION (BDOS). His music has been sold on the #1 Reggae Dancehall Entertainment Website 'HypeLife.tv' and has been uploaded by the #1 Dancehall promoter KRISH GENIUS!! He is voluntarily promoted regularly on Jamaican Dancehall website Spotlightentnow.com, Jam2Vibes (New York) & Gacekkillahmixriddims.blogspot.com. His single 'Love & War' is now the new intro for 'RIDDIM SESSION SATURDAYS' on 'Mood FM' in BELIZE!
Daba's most notable mark of success was collaborating with the Vybz's Kartels arch Nemisis DEVA BRATT, former GAZA member DOTTA COPPA , award winning INDRANI and mainstream hitmaker MAD DAWG known for his smash hit 'EARLY MORNING' and his appearances at JAMAICAN REGGAE SUMFEST!!
